Another term for balanced life is well-being. When looking up the definition for well-being the words happiness, health, and good fortune appear. Though these words may mean different things to each of us as we think of ways to achieve them, they tend to invoke similar feelings to all of us. Something that feels good. Perhaps something to work towards and strive for.
Richard Davidson, PhD, director of the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison says, “Well-being is a skill that can actually be learned, it can be nurtured. Learning this skill can enable us to live a happier life.”
